ChessFinity is a super fun, totally off-the-walls endless runner that adeptly combines both the simple gameplay that has made this genre into a smash hit with one of the most ancient games in the world -- chess. As might be expected, this polarized combo makes for an experience that is as novel as it is addictive. In short, it's 100% set to delight both seasoned players and newbs alike.
Anybody who has ever played chess before will likely be aware of the fact that ChessFinity's mechanics clearly similar. Furthermore, action takes place on a similar game board, and the premise underlying ChessFinity is exactly the same as in regular chess. Using basic chess rules, it's up to you to move across the board, taking as many enemy pieces as you can. Starting out each match, you get the chance to control a single piece belonging to each genre. At any time, and with total freedom, you can pivot between pieces to move them. Throughout the length of each game, these pieces follow suit along with the way classic chess pieces move. From there, you can create new strategies depending on the movement that you require to win.
Each enemy piece eliminated, adds a few glorious seconds on the timer that decides how long you've survived in the game. If you lose any of your pieces, you won't be able to use them again until you start a new match.
ChessFinity is an outstanding title for anyone who is a fan of endless runner games and chess. Oddly enough, these two completely unrelated game styles -- chess and ER games -- make for a surprisingly entertaining combo.
